The plot of the series follows George and his nephew, Peter who are on vacation in the jungle when they discover a zoo of rare and dangerous animals including a tiger, leopard, python and gorilla hidden away. Along with Peter is his girlfriend Ellie, who is overly friendly with the animals and puts them in danger. The plot is that their uncle George wants to help these wild animals come back to the jungle where they belong but Jess is just showing them off to her friends at school even though she doesn’t know she has unlocked an ancient city of evil Mongols.

What inspired the director to write George of the Jungle series?
The series is inspired by the movie of the same name.
