Knives Out is a mystery film written, directed, & co-produced by Rian Johnson. It follows a master detective, Benoit Blanc, who investigates the death of the patriarch of a wealthy, dysfunctional family. The film will be released through the streaming service Netflix. “So it’s all coming together very quickly,” Johnson said on Twitter of a project he had announced in December with a photo of himself with Evans, Curtis, and Plummer. “I hope you like it… and I hope it doesn’t break your hearts.”

This film will be released on 5 May 2023. The director also shared a poster on Twitter. The poster shows the name of the film in the style of Shanghai Piccadilly Circus with a serial killer silhouette in front. John David Washington will be playing Benoit Blanc, a detective who is investigating the murder of a patriarch and the members of his wealthy family. Benedict Cumberbatch will play Julian Blanc, who is Beau’s adopted son, George Lazenby will play Pancho Villain, who is Beau’s friend and former lover, Rachel Brosnahan will play Vera Villain, who is Julian’s wife and former lover of Beauregard, James Badge Dale will be playing Handy Halloran III and Patricia Clarkson will play Mrs. Blanchard.

We can expect in the sequel of this movie, the origins of Gamora. Gamora has been murdered by Thanos after joining the Guardians of The Galaxy. Thanos takes Adam Warlock’s Soul Stone and it marks the end for her, she is shown dead at the end of Infinity War in a flashback scene. We can expect to see more about who killed Gamora and why than before, we might get an insight into Drax’s past with his family.
Who are the director’s favorite characters and why?
The favorite directors of the characters are Peter Quill and Gamora. They are mentioned in the first movie when Kevin Feige stated that they were working with Josh Brolin to play Groot. Before joining Guardians of The Galaxy, Chris Pratt said that he had a great relationship with Gamora and she was very helpful to him when he was getting ready for this role. He also said that he likes Gamora and what she does for the team in the movie.

What kind of story does Knives Out 3 tell?
The Knives Out 3 retains a very similar storyline to the previous two films. They are about ongoing events in the universe that have not yet been explained, furthering this mystery. The Name of the Guardian team will be featured in this trilogy. The three films will be directed by Johnson who has also written and directed all three films.
What does the poster look like and what does it explain?
We can see on the poster a lot of knives that are hidden behind broken glass like a mirror. Of course, each knife represents someone and in the end, we will know who they are. On the title, there is something weird that says “Don’t believe your eyes” which might mean we have to look at everything with our brain, not just with our eyes if we want to understand this movie.
What do the reviewers think of Knives Out 3?
The reviewers say that we have been controlled by the government and aliens but what if the government was not working alone? What if they told us everything they did but we did not believe them? They say that it might be something like this in this trilogy. A reviewer also says that this movie will be really sad and it will have a different style than Infinity War.
