Heartstopper is a British romantic comedy-drama TV series on Netflix, adapted from the webcomic & the graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman. The series follows the story of two teenagers, Nicole and Alex, who just managed to escape the pressures of their parent’s expectations. After being caught making out by a teacher, they are sent to different summer camps on the same day. There they meet and grow closer while staying apart in the physical world. The series also gives us a peek into the life of Alex’s older brother, Freddie, who is in a band and trying to figure out his sexuality. “Heartstopper” is available to Netflix members worldwide except in the US. At this moment there are no plans for US Netflix to acquire the streaming rights for season 2 of the series.
