The plot of the series is a story of a very old dragon who is lonely, he goes on looking for a person who can accompany him and make his house feel like home. The dragon moves on to find other houses which were empty until he came across the red house, where there was another dragon who had come to live in a different place. The new dragon was not too happy about this and thus attacked the old one. The old one had to flee from the battle as it was not quite prepared for it. He later realized that he might be able to seek answers from the people so he asks them about the meaning of happiness and love but all they could give him are empty answers.
