Inside Job, Netflix’s animated series to shows like The X-Files was recently renewed for a 2nd season, but it’s now no longer the case. The streaming has now canceled the series that was created by Gravity Falls alumni Shion. Inside Job: The Animated Series was canceled by Netflix The second season will not now be produced. Sources say that the cancellation of Inside Job 2 was made by Netflix. There has been no official comment about the reasons for the decision, but it’s clear that the series is no longer on the list of projects for which Netflix is developing new content.

When is Inside Job Season 2 releasing? 

This series has now been canceled by Netflix in January 2023. The series was renewed back in June last year before the 2nd part of Season 1 had hit Netflix. Part 1 of 1st Season premiered with 10 episodes in October 2021, and Part 2 debuted this past November with another eight but now it is canceled.

Inside Job follows the shadow government and broken team whose daily reduction is committing the world’s conspiracies. The day-to-day operations involved complicated cover-ups of the societies and even masked orgy etiquette. The main focus was on agent Reagan Ridley who believes the world could be a better place. The series was a parody of conspiracy theories, which is the pilot episode “In Which Agent Ron Reagan Meets the Shadow Government”.

What can we expect from Inside Job Season 2?

We can expect a much darker tone and some of the first season’s characters will return. In terms of the premise, it’s safe to say that we can expect similar things. We can also expect some new enemies as well as a change in cast. For example, Christopher Meloni’s character from the first season was killed in action during the events of Part 2. We will likely see his character from the first season, or another one, return. For us, who are eagerly waiting for Season 2 of Inside Job and The X-Files fans to ever see it, we hope a third season will happen at some point in the future. Also, a fourth season is highly anticipated. We all know Netflix loves anime like Voltron: Legendary Defender and they are also going to adapt more of “Of Gravity Falls”.

What themes does Inside Job Season 2 explore?

The themes for this season will mostly be political including international conspiracies. The show has been built upon various real-life conspiracy theories, often through a comedic lens as in the “In Which Agent Reagan Meets the Shadow Government” episode.
