The new season of the iconic shows Jack Ryan is finally here. Although it is still relatively early days, there are already high hopes for this new series from Amazon who has renewed JACK RYAN for a third season.

THE PLOT:

Jack Ryan Season Three, which is based on Tom Clancy’s character of the same name, takes place months after his last mission in South America. In season three, we find Jack trying to be an everyday husband and father despite being thrust into a dangerous world where he is thrown back onto duty against his will. As you can imagine, things don’t go well.

Jack Ryan’s family is put in danger again, and he puts his life on the line once more to protect them. As a result, Jack becomes even closer with his wife Cathy (played by Abbie Cornish), who has been working as an International Aid Doctor this entire time without much of her husband’s knowledge. This new season showcases the struggles of balancing work and family life which is something we can all relate to.

The series will continue to follow Ryan as he uncovers a new international crime organization from Russia that seems intent on taking over the world one illegal operation at a time. In this season, Michael Kelly returns in his role as ex-CIA director James Greer.

RATINGS:

The first season of JACK RYAN has not been aired yet, but it is expected to be given a high rating due to the success of its predecessor films and series. The score for the show on IMDB currently sits at an impressive eight-point five out of ten stars with more than six hundred votes cast.
