Although a trailer has not yet been released for the new season, we do have a first look at some of the upcoming episodes for Killing Eve. Marvel’s Luke Cage star Aunjanue Ellis joined the show for a recurring role as Erin Kira, who is an operative from Konstantin’s secret company. Jean Smart will also return in Killing Eve Season 4 as Valerie Edwards, who is an extreme close protection agent. Back in October 2018, Phoebe Waller-Bridge told Deadline that she would be returning to write and direct every episode in Season 4.

The E01 of S04 will be released on 27 February 2022 and E02 on 6 March 2022. Also, the series has been renewed for a fifth season which will air sometime in the future. Killing Eve Season 4 will be available to stream on Netflix from 27 February 2022. If you wish to add it to your personal collection then you can easily do so using Netflix’s streaming trial. There will be 8 episodes in Killing Eve Season 4. This is four episodes less than the Season 3 of the series which had 12 episodes.

What happened to Villanelle after she was shot by Eve in the Season 3 finale?
Villanelle has remained in a coma ever since she was shot by Eve, but that might change in the upcoming season. Phoebe Waller-Bridge revealed in an interview with EW at the Emmys that Villanelle will be “more awake than she’s ever been.” And we can probably expect a big confrontation between Eve and Villanelle once the former is done grieving for her friend Niko. Comer also said in an interview with Variety that fans should expect to see Villanelle and Eve together more often in Season 4 because of their relationship. Comer even teased that Eve and Villanelle might share screen time together even before they find out they are after the same person.
Will we see more of Carolyn’s backstory in Season 4?
Carolyn is one of the main characters in Killing Eve Season 3, but we haven’t really gotten to know her that much. “I think you’ll see her story a little bit more,” series creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge told THR at the Emmys. “We won’t spend too much time on it and there will be events like a mysterious death that happens – that’s all I can spill.”

Will Konstantin’s relationship with his girlfriend get more developed?
Konstantin is currently dating his new girlfriend Elena, who worked for Konstantin’s private security company. In the Season 3 finale, Konstantin was adamant that he never had a personal relationship with Elena. However, we get clues that he might have cared about her in one scene where he’s holding her hand. In addition, we’ve also seen him showing off some kind words for Elena when she’s talking to Eve about their upcoming trip to Peru.
How will Eve and Villanelle’s relationship change now that Villanelle?
In the Season 3 finale, Eve wanted to take Villanelle home with her. Villanelle refused the request and said that she will never be a “normal” person while Carolyn is still out there. But Eve said that she’s taking Villanelle back, whether she likes it or not. We all know how stubborn both of them are so it might take a lot of convincing for Eve to get Villanelle back home again.
