Letterkenny is an Emmy-nominated, half-hour comedy that follows the lives of friends living in Letterkenny for almost a decade. The show has been nominated multiple times at the Canadian Screen Awards and other industry awards. RELEASE DATE:

PRODUCTION:
The production company behind Letterkenny is New Metric Media Incorporated, with a budget of $12 million CAD per new episode. This marks one of their biggest projects yet as they are able to provide more of the budget for production. It has been confirmed that there will be a total of six episodes, with each one running around 25 minutes long, giving this season an hour and fifteen-minute runtime overall, which is about double what they would have in previous seasons.

RENEWAL STATUS:
The Comedy Network of Canada has announced the renewal for Letterkenny Season 11. The show will be back in production from Spring 2022 and is set to premiere on Crave TV in Autumn 2023. This announcement was made by Entertainment One’s President and Chief Operating Officer, John Morayniss.”
THE PLOT:
The show follows the everyday life of Wayne (played by Jared Keeso) and his friends who live in a small town called Letterkenny, Ontario. The show is a comedy, and the characters often get into situations that are, for lack of better words, ridiculous.
Season Ten of the show is set to be released on October 11, 2021. The production company has not revealed any major plot points surrounding Season Nine yet, but we can expect more bickering between Wayne and Daryl over who should have custody of their daughter Katy (played by Brittany Brousseau).
