Mr. Robot: Rami Malek’s Narration Magnifies Distortion

Mr. Robot is a show that takes place in a cyberpunk world where technology has advanced to the point where it can be used to control people. Mr. Robot himself is a vigilante hacker who wants to take down this corrupt system. The narration in Mr. Robot is done by Rami Malek, and it is one of the strongest aspects of the show. Malek’s distorted voice perfectly reflects the chaotic and dark atmosphere of Mr. Robot.

The voice work is the most prominent example of Malek’s narration being distorted. Whenever Malek loses his cool, his voice becomes deep and distorted. This is especially prominent in Season 2, when there are many flashback scenes of Elliot’s past.

Do you know about the release date of Mr. Robot series:

This series will be released on 6 March 2022. Also the series has a total of 1 season and its ending has not been revealed yet.  Rami flaunts his ability to not just perfectly replicate the sound of a voice, but also accurately represent the texture of it. This is particularly important to note when Mr. Robot starts cutting out his own vocal tracks in various scenes to highlight how screwed up he is becoming as the series goes on.

His narration is by far the most terrifying aspect of the series, and enables him to create those moments that make this show so effective. It will be interesting to see what happens in Season 2 with Rami’s narration as more people begin to realize this was all intentional and Mr. Robot is deliberately trying to get people off balance.

Here is the plot of Mr. Robot Series discussed:

The story picks up a year after the events of Season 1, as Elliot (Rami Malek) is still trying to deal with the aftermath of his fsociety hack and its consequences. However, the series begins to feel quite different in this second season, with many new characters introduced, and many of the old ones subtly changed in various ways, some more subtly than others.

As Season 2 opens up we see a much more defeated Elliot, who has become an assassin for a mysterious government agency called fsociety that he hasn’t spoken to in decades. Thus far Season 2 has been much more focused on Elliot’s struggle within the context of his current mission than it has been on Mr Robot’s actual plan for saving humanity from itself.

The Name of Cast & Characters of Mr. Robot Series:

  • Rami Malek as Elliot Alderson.
  • Carly Chaikin as Darlene Alderson.
  • Portia Doubleday as Angela Moss.
  • Martin Wallström as Tyrell Wellick.
  • Christian Slater as Mr. Robot.
  • Michael Cristofer as Phillip Price.

What are your thoughts on the Mr. Robot series finale?

The thoughts I have on the finale is that it was well written and had a great plot. It was very engaging and exciting.  The narration in Mr. Robot is done by Rami Malek, and it is one of the strongest aspects of the show. Malek’s distorted voice perfectly reflects the chaotic and dark atmosphere of Mr. Robot.

Do you think it was a satisfying ending, or were there aspects that left you wanting more?

I think it was a satisfying ending, I think that if they added more to the plot it would detract from the quality of the show, but overall I was very happy with all aspects of the series, and hope that they make more.  The plot is so well put together and detailed. By far one of my favorite TV shows.

I don’t really know what could have improved, maybe in Season 2 there could be some more background story on Mr. Robot himself and who he was before Elliot knew him to get a better understanding of his motives for his quest for saving humanity from itself as well as each other.

What did you think of the Mr. Robot series as a whole – were there parts you liked?

I really enjoyed watching the series, I really liked all of the twists that happened in each episode. My favorite scene was when Elliot pulled off his plan and he was about to destroy the fsociety website and that would have been bad for him for whatever reason, but I really liked it because it seemed like this character had been through a lot.

And how much he was able to do as an individual because everything that he did seemed like it wasn’t going to work out, but at the same time it made me wonder if Elliot had been doing all of this because of some type of ulterior motive or if he truly wanted this to happen since the beginning.

Are you sad to see it end, or are you ready to move on to other shows now that it’s over?

I was sad to see the show end, but I’m happy it went out on a high note. It was a great show and I loved watching it from beginning to end. I would like to see more of the bad guys being exposed and getting justice for all of the wrongs they caused other people in the past as well as new wrongs they caused.
