Never Have I Ever is a show that was created by Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Massett, with the help of her husband Chris Iannetta. The first two seasons were so successful that NETLFIX greenlit a third season. It’s been over three years since this original series aired its last episode, but now fans are wondering if it will be renewed for another season or not? ABOUT NEVER HAVE I EVER SEASON 3:
The series was created by MINDY KALING and LANG FISHER. The two first met in the 2000s at a party when they were both working on Grey’s Anatomy, but didn’t start collaborating until 2014 with some success. Never Have I Ever is their fourth collaboration together after The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Champions.
RELEASE DATE:
The release date has not been confirmed yet, but it is expected to be on screens near the fall of next year, 2022.
PRODUCTION:
The production of the show is going on right now. The filming has been done in New York City, LA, and Costa Rica. The production is set to start this summer, for a 2020 release. Filming for the third season is expected to be from July through November of this year, 2021. The show is filmed in LA, but the most recent episode was shot in New York.
THE STARRING CAST:
Kaling has revealed that an Indian actress will be joining the cast of Never Have I Ever Season three as the main character- this should make for some interesting plot twists and turns! Kaling also stated that she works closely with her female Indian writers, adding to the show’s diversity.

THE PLOT OF NEVER HAVE I EVER SEASON 3:
The show revolves around a group of friends at an all-girls private school who share their deepest secrets and then vote on which one is telling the truth. It’s like Truth or Dare, but with drinking games! In Season One, Olivia was voted off for cheating on her boyfriend while they were out of town. Season Two introduced a whole new group of girls and we find out why Olivia is so eager to join the game again in season three!
Never Have I Ever is actually really funny and addicting! If you don’t like the cast, then just wait until next season there are going to be new ones! The best part about this show is that you don’t have to worry about having a bad day. There’s no way you’ll be able to watch it and not laugh, even if that side of you is so hidden.
RATINGS:
The show has a 74% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 83 out of 100 scores on Metacritic. Never Have I Ever had a strong start, but then ratings starting falling. The issue is not that the show isn’t good enough, but rather it’s competing with other shows in its time slot. Season two was a huge success, with an average rating of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes.
