What can we expect from the Outlander series?
We can expect to see the story of Jamie as a young man with his struggle as a young highlander soldier who has to deal with his love for Claire Randall and her adventures with him.
It’s coming out on 6th March 2022. Nate Moore, president of HBO programming announced the news at the TCA press tour in Pasadena. Moore said that they had the beginning of the story worked out, but not the ending. The executive producer, Ronald D. Moore commented that they’ll begin production in 2018 and it will go for a minimum of five seasons.

It will be filmed in Scotland and locations across Europe as well as South Africa where season 6 was filmed. It is said to take place during season four of Outlander (episodes 40-44). It is set in 1748 and will begin on 6th March 2022. It was announced at the TCA press tour in Pasadena, that the last Outlander movie they were going to do will be called “Red Sky at Morning”. The final season of Outlander was aired, so the movie will take place between their 5th and 6th seasons.
