The Peaky Blinders season 6 was announced in January 2021. It will be the final season of the series. The series is a British period crime drama television series created by Steven Knight. The BBC was reportedly eager for it to continue beyond its initial run on TV ,though. “I’m not saying Season Five is the last,” Knight told RadioTimes earlier this year, before adding: “We’ll see how we feel when we get towards [to] the end.”
It is yet to be announced, Peaky Blinders season five saw a number of new cast members join the show. But it is likely that most will return for Peaky Blinders season six. We do know Cillian Murphy has confirmed he will reprise his role as Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders series six.
Peaky Blinders is set in Birmingham, England, and follows the exploits of a gang known as the Peaky Blinders. The Peaky Blinders were active in London after World War I and this crime drama focuses on their leader Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) who runs the criminal organization with his older brother Arthur (Paul Anderson), John, Ada Thorne (Sophie Rundle), Finn Shelby (Harry Kirton), Michael Gray (Finn Cole) and Jessie Eden(Charlie Murphy).
We don’t know much about the plot of season 6. But we can expect season 6 to pick up from where season 5 has stopped.
Peaky Blinders series has been nominated several times at both BAFTA awards. It won the best drama series award. Peaky Blinders received critical acclaim when it first aired on TV back in 2013.
