Lucy Hale is one of the actresses that has starred in Pretty Little Liars since its inception. This series will be released in summer 2022. Also the series has ordered 7 episodes. Lucy Hale was cast in the lead role, Aria Montgomery, after only a single audition. This was due to Hale’s impressive resume, which included guest roles on both 90210 and One Tree Hill.
There were some concerns over whether Hale was too pretty for her character and whether she could effectively pull off the sass that is Aria’s trademark. However, these concerns proved to be unfounded when she first appeared onscreen as Aria and proved that she could successfully embody this strong character.

The series follows the lives of four girls– Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin and Emily Fields-whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their queen bee, Alison DiLaurentis. One year later, they begin receiving messages from a mysterious figure named “A,” who threatens to expose their secrets including long-hidden ones they thought only Alison knew. At first, they think it’s Alison herself , but after her body is found, the girls realize that someone else is planning on ruining their perfect lives.

What are your thoughts on the Pretty Little Liars series finale?
The thoughts on the series finale are mixed. There are some people that feel fully satisfied by the series’ ending. There are others who feel disappointed in the finale. The performance of Lucy Hale is one of the strongest of Pretty Little Liars and 2018. The fact that she only had a single audition for her character Aria Montgomery speaks volumes about the caliber of acting skills that Hale has and how she brought Aria to life.
What was your favorite moment or episode in the series?
My favorite moment was when she was on the runway wearing a sexy Aria red dress. It was amazing and beautiful in my opinion. I remember that when I first saw the trailer for the series finale, my initial thoughts were “This is going to be a cliched, cheesy ending.” But then I started seeing all the promo photos released by the series’ producers and I realized that it wasn’t going to be like that at all. There could have been a real life finale of this magnitude and its producers wouldn’t have chosen such a cliched ending as this one.
Are you sad to see it go, or are you ready to move on?
I’m sad to see it go because the series is one of my favorite shows. I’ve watched it since its debut in 2010 and I still can’t believe that after all these years, the series has finally ended. My favorite twist is when Lucy Hale was revealed as “A”. When I found out that Lucy Hale’s character was in fact “A” I didn’t even think twice about it. It felt so natural and right that she would be “A”.
Would you like to see a spin-off series featuring some of the secondary characters?
The series could get a spin off with some of the main characters in it. I would watch the spin off if it got created. The spin off is a great idea because the series has many characters and a lot of them are related to each other. So, it would be nice if they did a spin off.
I was very satisfied by the way they wrapped things up in an ending of this magnitude instead of giving us something cliche and cheesy. It would’ve been easy to do that, but they decided to end it differently than other shows do. I’m very proud of everyone involved in Pretty Little Liars production for their amazing work on this series finale.

What is your favorite Lucy Hale performance?
My favorite performance by Lucy Hale was when she was on the runway wearing a sexy Aria red dress. It was amazing and beautiful in my opinion. This performance doesn’t surprise me because I’ve always known Lucy Hale’s talent. She did a great job portraying Aria Montgomery, one of the main characters of this series.
