The only reason I accepted the role of director for Holiday Haunt was that I didn’t want to disappoint my fans and make them feel sad,” said Welker. “I would have never accepted it if I knew that Scoob would step in and wreck the whole production before we had anything to show them. That just wouldn’t be right. He’s a kid and he needs to go back to school or find a job instead of pulling all these stunts.”
