The latest trailer and poster for the film “Scream VI” has been released. This movie is different from the previous films. The new trailer is teasing ‘ there is something different’ in this movie. This time, Ghostface is not only armed with a blade but also has a shotgun to terrify its victims. “There’s never been anyone like me,” the cloaked figure declares in one scene, and another scene displays a macabre shrine dedicated to the franchise’s previous murderers. The poster provides clues to both new and returning faces, but not pertinent enough. “Scream VI” is an upcoming slasher film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett which is written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, with original franchise writer and creator Kevin Williamson returning as executive producer. Scream VI is the six-sequel in this series. It’s a direct sequel to the Scream 2022
Ghostface is the main antagonist of the Scream series. His main weapon is a knife, but in the sixth sequel, he uses other weapons to terrorize his victims like guns and bombs. Ghostface’s face was never seen in original films but fans made sketches and artwork of what they thought Ghostface looked like. Ghostface wears a mask with a quarter of it showing the face and his mouth is not seen.
In Scream: The series, Ghostface wears the same mask that is colored darker than his original one. His pants are also black but sleeveless, as well as tall boots with laces and wingtips.
Ghostface’s appearance is different from the original and fifth films. The new trailer shows a figure who is lurking in a dark place. He keeps his mask and knife shown in the last poster. We also see new weapons which are not shown in previous films like a shotgun. There are many theories about who is under the mask. There is no information or hints about his motive for killing people, but it seems that he has been stalking and killing victims for years. “It’s scary. There’s something different in this one, it seems,” Scream creator Kevin Williamson wrote on Twitter.

Neve Campbell is no longer in the movie. It was revealed that the actress has been written out of the script. “It’s a long story, but Neve and I had a conversation about why she didn’t want to do it, and she had her reasons,” Williamson told Entertainment Weekly.”I completely understood. I respect Neve, and I appreciate all the work that she’s done for us.
Paramount Pictures will release Scream VI on March 10, 2023. but before this, the movie is originally released on March 31, 2023.
