Netflix has just released the first footage from Season 2 of Russian Doll! The show, which stars Natasha Lyonne, was an instant hit when it premiered earlier this year. Season 2 is set to premiere in April 2022, and fans are already excited about what’s in store. 

In the teaser trailer, we see Nadia (Lyonne) waking up on her birthday and realizing that she’s stuck in a Groundhog Day-esque time loop. She then sets out to try and break free from the cycle.

Series follows Nadia, a 30-year-old actress who is an outcast in her family and also in New York City. Nadia is stuck in a time loop that makes her relive the same day over and over again. But even though she knows what to expect, she’s still surprised by new situations. 

Every night, she wakes up on her birthday and has to retrace her day using different memories of the events that have happened on that day. In this show, viewers will explore what life would have been like if everyone lived the same day repeatedly.

What are your thoughts on the Russian Doll series so far?

The thoughts are pretty good. Its a interesting idea that the show has been working with and is a really good one. I’m wondering just how long the show will go on for and also if it will continue to be as popular as it’s been so far.

Unfortunately, Russian Doll is only available in the Netflix Original’s category. I love this question because it doesn’t matter which episode I like best, I just like all of them equally! Personally, my favorite may actually be episode 10 but then again, all of them are great! Because there’s something about every single one that makes me love it so much!

Who do you think is behind Nadia’s death and why would they want her dead?

The person who is behind Nadia’s death is her father. He killed her because he wanted to take over the company that she works for. Nadia works as a shoe designer, and I believe that because of this she doesn’t stand a chance at getting the job of the CEO. The reason why he wanted her dead was because he wanted the job of this company

I wouldn’t break out of my time loop because it would just make my life worse instead I would try to forget about it and live my life as normal but how do you forget something that has happened twice in one day you would never be able to.

What was your favorite thing about the Russian Doll series?

My favorite thing about this series is that the writers have made it so interesting and a bit different to other series such as time loop but I also like how they are changing things around such as it not being a regular show but more of a horror film. Also there are many references to many other movies in this series that makes me love this series even more.

What do you think happened to Alan after he disappeared in episode 3?

I think that Alan could have been killed by Nadia. I have a theory that she and her father are the same person and she sees Alan as a competition to get the job of running the company.

My favorite scene was when you find out that your loop is being caused by your past self, I thought it was an unexpected twist but everyone else just assumed that it was Nadia’s death that was causing all of these time loops.

Will we find out more about Nadia’s past in future episodes?

I really hope to! I’m really looking forward to finding out more about her past and why she is the way she is now. I think that it would be interesting to know what happened between her, Alan, and her father.

I think that Nadia’s father is a very well written villain because he doesn’t have any human emotions, unlike most villains who are portrayed to have such anger and remorse for their action.
