Whoopi Goldberg believed that the 3rd movie would not happen without the original character being included in the production. Whoopi Goldberg said Sister Act 3 shouldn’t happen without M Smith but now, Goldberg made it clear that Sister Act 3 needs Smith attached to be a success. It seems that Smith is not keen on starring in the movie after working with Goldberg as two of her most successful movies were Goldberg’s and Smith’s. Smith also said that she would rather work with Whoopi again before she would get back to Sister Act 3. Goldberg said that she would love to have Smith back. The actress shared that she would love to work with Smith again so they can create comedy again. Whoopi Goldberg also hopes for Sister Act 3 will be a success and bring back original characters like Mimi, Deloris, and Domino DaVinci. But if there will not be any new characters, Goldberg still believes that Sister Act 3 should happen because of her relationship with Smith.
