The Skyfall series was a very successful one for James Bond and Sam Mendes, who took over the reigns of directing duties from Michael Lewis. Now, months after the final film was released in theaters, Mendes has revealed something about the project to The Independent. This is very much an old-school James Bond movie, even more so than any that have come before it. It’s nearly four hours long, and deals with themes like “family” and “betrayal,” as well as physical combat, spycraft/technology and death. All of this helps make Skyfall closer to what people may expect if they had never seen any of the other films at all.
The entire thing is based off an original idea that I have wanted to see in a Bond film. Sure, there are elements of Quantum Solace and Casino Royale in here, but Quantum didn’t work for me. Casino doesn’t work anymore now that we’ve seen it twice….and I had to eradicate much of Casino Royale anyway because of the co-opting of the story by other films and television shows.
This series will be released on 21 September 2022. Also the series has been given 10 awards till now. The first award was received by the series in 2015 for Best Production Design and Original Score. The series received a second award in 2015 for Best Visual Effects. In additional to the above-mentioned things, you should also know that there are two films in this series so far and they were released in 2012 and 2015 respectively within a gap of three years which is not very long but it seems like a lifetime because the audience is waiting for this series eagerly because this is one of those films which has made audience to fall in love with cinema all over again.
The plot of Skyfall series is varied as the whole series comprises two parts which are Skyfall and Skyfall: The Final Chapter. They are completely different from each other in terms of the plots and characters. Skyfall is an espionage film which revolves around hitsman James Bond (Daniel Craig) whose latest mission takes him to Istanbul, Turkey to investigate the murder of a British agent. While there, he falls in love with a Turkish journalist named Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) who was working for MI6 to keep tabs on M-/KGB boss Silva (Javier Bardem).
We can expect a very fun and exciting series. It has been directed by Sam Mendes who has done a great job as a director of this series. He will surely not disappoint the audience with his brilliant work in all the series which are his work. Now we cannot wait to see what would be next in this series. It seems like a gift to us that we have been waiting for long time.
This series doesn’t have any music in it, rather there is no background score as no background score has been provided for this series. The theme song for this series was composed by Thomas Newman who composed it before he was given the chance to compose for the Skyfall film.
The themes that have been explored in all four films of the series are family, betrayal and death. The whole series is based on the whole family and betrayal. The critics love this series so much and they are in love with the whole Skyfall series. They believe that all the movies of the series are just spectacular and they see no flaws in all of them because everything is so perfect in each one of them.
