The latest release from The Batman franchise, Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to enter the 100 crore club. The film has been receiving positive reviews from audiences and critics alike. The cast of the movie includes some of the biggest names in Bollywood, such as Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Anil Kapoor. We spoke to some of the cast and crew about their experience making the movie and what it was like working with such a star-studded cast.
We spoke to director Anil Sunkara about his experience making this film. ” This is a movie of a lifetime. It’s the biggest project I’ve ever been involved in, and certainly the most expensive one too. It was a pleasure directing such stellar talent from both Bollywood and Hollywood, although it did make me wonder why I even wanted to become an actor in the first place. For me, working on the film is like being put on top of Mt Everest in a wheelchair and then called upon to climb down it with my two hands tied behind my back.”

Who was the best Batman/Bruce Wayne actor out of all of them?
In this series, all the actors played different roles. Also, the actor who played Batman/Bruce Wayne was not known in this series. Batman has a lot of superheroes in DC (DC Comics). I don’t really have any other character but Batman’s villains are also very good. If they make superhero movies only with him then I won’t watch it. If they show other characters it will be good.
Why do people love the Batman series so much even though it’s dark and serious?
The Batman series is really very serious. They will make it boring for a child if they show the series. I think when it’s for children then it’s better to make it in a lighter tone but if you are making a movie that adults should watch then, you can also show something serious.
I don’t know why people love the series because I haven’t seen any of the movies in this series. If they are releasing any new movies in the near future then I can watch the movie only when someone tells me about this movie and gives me a review about it.
What did you think about the newest movie, “The Dark Knight Rises”?
I have seen the movie, “The Dark Knight Rises”. In that movie, all the characters were named differently. This movie is very good. I really love this series and if they make any new movies in the near future then I will see all the movies of the Batman series. This series is very famous in Hollywood and also in India because all over India people are watching Batman movies on YouTube.
I don’t know why people like to watch superheroes but many people who have weak physiques or not so strong physiques can feel like a superhero and it’s also good to have a desire that you can achieve anything even if you have not achieved anything so far in your life.
What would you like to see happen in future Batman movies/tv shows?
I wish they will do more action scenes in the movie so that people can also enjoy the movies. I also want to see more good actors in this series. If they will make a movie with Superman or Batman, then I will see the movie. Because if they are making Superman or Batman then they have to make it again and again so that people can know more about this superhero.
I feel that if they will remove those slow and boring scenes in the movies then people will also like it better and it’s also good to remove those scenes as soon as possible because many people who don’t like slow-paced movies can skip those scenes easily but if you put those things in other quality movies then people won’t leave that film easily.
