According to reports, filming is expected to take place until March, with the aim of premiering the show’s final season in early 2022.

RENEWAL STATUS:

The Blacklist season nine is set to premiere on NBC in January 2022, with a number of new cast additions and several recurring characters expected to return for the new installment. The show has been renewed for its tenth and final season by NBC, while production started earlier this year in New York City.

THE PLOT:

The Blacklist season nine will reportedly focus on finding Red’s daughter Jennifer, who was abducted by the Cabal. During one of her many confrontations with Reddington over the years, she discovered that he had a child and promised to hunt them both down if they ever crossed paths again.

Megan Boone plays Elizabeth Keen, a rookie profiler fresh out of Quantico whose first day on the job is interrupted when she is pulled into this dangerous case with her new boss. Despite now sharing a common interest, the FBI and Red have an uneasy alliance.
