Season 3 will be premiering soon, which is good news because it was recently announced that season 2 would conclude with a cliffhanger. The Chosen is a fantasy drama television series about three people who are chosen to compete for god. They each have the same goal, but they’re following different paths in order to achieve it. One will make the ultimate sacrifice, while another may just be living in denial.
RELEASING DATE:
The releasing date for the chosen season 3 but is expected to release on screens in the year 2022.
THE STARRING CAST:
The cast of this season is made up of newcomers and people who have been with the show since day one. Returning series regulars include Chris Noth, Craig Frank, Scarlett Byrne, Sarah Jeffery, and Jack Messitt.
Season three will bring back some familiar faces as well as introduce new actors who were cast because they fit the physical descriptions. Season three is set to bring back old faces and introduce new characters that we can’t wait to meet! The main character of Pietro will be played by Daniel Auteuil, a French actor who has been nominated twice at the Cannes Film Festival.
PRODUCTION:
Filming will begin in August and is set to continue for six months. The production timeline was delayed by a month because of issues with location permits, but we’re finally able to get excited!
THE PLOT:
The plot for this upcoming season is unknown, but we do know that it’ll be different from what was seen before. The season is supposed to be a mix of new characters, including ones that are from the Bible. We can only hope for more exciting adventures in this upcoming season! The Chosen will be traveling to different countries and territories around the world.
They’ll explore new cultures, customs, religions, and traditions in order to better understand themselves as well as their fellow humans. A focus of season three is understanding how people choose who they want to become on a spiritual level before they are born.
The first season briefly touched on the backstory of how these three people were chosen to compete for god and why they each feel so drawn to this task at hand. In season two, we watched as their paths slowly converged when all of their lives collided in a single moment.

The show’s creator Tony DiSanto said in an interview with Deadline that he’d be “thrilled and honored” to receive such recognition.
