What inspired you to write The Newsreader Series?

This series is inspired by the life of Richard Krawiec and his ex-fiancé Judy Morris. The script for this series was written by Elizabeth Fama and Julie Salamon. Elizabeth Fama is an Australian screenwriter who previously wrote the film “Phobia” along with Julie Salamon who is an American screenwriter.

This series has also been directed by Canadian film director Richard Yuricich. The series was, however, filmed in New York, England, and Australia as well as Atlanta, Georgia.

How long did it take to write The Newsreader?

The Newsreader took 3 years to complete including scriptwriting and filming which was directed by Richard Yuricich. It was shot in New York and Atlanta with a large number of extras used for filming the scenes.

How much of the cast knew about the secrets in the show?

Anna Torv was one of the actors in The Newsreader who only found out about the big secret during filming. She was speaking to her co-star Helen Norville about the other character’s ex-boyfriend when she learned about this big secret.

How does the series compare to your other books/series?

The best thing about this series is that it has a big twist at the end. This twist ends when the journalist’s life turns upside down. It is also a thriller and is certainly a lot better than my other books/series.

I love thriller’s so I knew that I would love this series as well as my other books, but for some reason, this series was something special to me and I knew that it was going to be a hit in the long run because it had everything from drama, romance, thrill, and suspense along with some action thrown in for good measure.

Why do you think readers have responded so positively to the series?

The best thing about this series is that it has the perfect amount of everything from drama, romance, thriller, and suspense. Plus there are a large number of twists in the end so I think that’s what made readers respond to the series so well.

I think my biggest dream has come true because I now get to work with many famous actors as well as learn a lot more about TV production in general which is something I love doing. Also being able to film a show was amazing and something I never thought would happen.

Are there any other projects you’re working on that you can tell us about?

I did the kindle series “Holly and Olivia” which is a new crime fiction series. The first book in this series “Holly and Olivia: The Truth” is currently available to be read on Amazon. Another one of my books is an updated version of “Deadly Intentions” with more action and drama inside. I will be releasing it soon on Amazon as well.
