The season nine trailer for “The Flash” also features several returning villains. Jon Cor’s Chillblaine is now an official series regular for the final season. The new Captain Boomerang is Richard Harmon. There was a quick clip from The Flash trailer that seemed to be a new take on the character Murmur. Even so, the most conspicuous instance is the first proper look at Red Death, played by Javicia Leslie.

With the departure of Tom Felton and the latest season of “The Flash”, we now have only Grant Gustin and Danielle Panabaker in the cast. Although, we might see Candice Patton return to the series in a flashback episode since she is heavily featured in the Arrowverse crossover. However, this seems unlikely since her role as Iris West is still canceled. “The Flash” has been adapted into a musical by German composer Jean Michel Jarre. However, the series is not going to be musical for the ninth season.
