The Virgin River Season 4 series finale aired this past Sunday, and it’s fair to say that not everybody is happy. The series is inspired by the Virgin River Resort outside of Placerville, California, which was built on the site of a ghost town. Creator and showrunner Jason Katims has been “obsessed” with the Virgin River since he first visited it in 1999. He spent every day there for a week and ended up staying for three months. “Virgin River” is based on his experiences at the resort. Many fans said that they are anticipating Virgin River Season 5 to happen soon and most want to see Ethan as sheriff again.
