It’s been a real blast getting to know every cast member on such an intimate level these last few months. The last day of shooting was especially hard for me because the cast has grown attached to me, so I felt like I had to put up a good fight. Chucky’s Season 2: The UBJ is an American horror web television series created for Netflix by the franchise creator Don Mancini. The series consists of three episodes, and is a sequel to the 2017 film “Cult of Chucky”. It stars Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Jennifer Tilly, and Brad Dourif reprising their roles as Nica Pierce, Ryan Pierce, Tiffany Valentine, and Chucky respectively.
The plot of Chucky’s Season 2 will be simple. Chucky is back and he wants his old toy back. But he has been trapped in a voodoo doll and is not going to stop until he gets his old toy back. The show will consist of 3 episodes. The series will be released on Netflix on 5 August 2022.
The series is inspired by “Cult of Chucky”, the 2017 film. The director Don Mancini and writer Carey Miller were inspired by the movie and decided to make a new season with some actors from that film including Jennifer Tilly, Brad Dourif, and Fiona Dourif. The director had the idea for a Chucky sequel after he was impressed with Chucky’s performance in “Child’s Play 3”.
During the filming of Season 2, many things happened on set. For example, during one scene in a hotel room, there was an accident on set where Jennifer Tilly accidentally cut herself while hanging objects on set. The cast had to use CGI to hide the cut on set. During another scene, there was an accident that happened on set during a table-turning scene. During the scene, Chucky was supposed to turn a table and a person who was sitting at the table would fall over. Unfortunately, the person fell over and couldn’t get up for a few minutes. While everyone tried to help her back up, Chucky went over to her and pushed her down with his knife.
The favorite characters of the directors are Tiffany and Chucky. However, he also likes Lego Chucky. The reason why he likes Tiffany is that she’s a strong female character, who can take care of herself and fights back. The reason why he likes Chucky is that he’s fun and crazy.
The series was filmed for 4 months. The director Don Mancini and Carey Miller say that they will use all the scenes they filmed during the season, so they don’t have to reshoot anything, except the ones with Jennifer Tilly which were done at a different time later on in 2018. They talk about how Jennifer’s scenes were amazing and almost all of them are funny.
The ratings for each episode of Chucky’s Season 2 are good. Don Mancini said that the series will have a lot of violence and horror for its core viewers, but it is also going to have a lot of comedy, which will help make it great for every age from teenagers to children. The director also said that he wants the series to be “smart” and “intelligent”, so he wrote the script when he was still in middle school. Don Mancini said that they want the series to be funny, relatable, and normal.
