Stephen Strange and most of the other superheroes will team up to fight off the villain. However, this is just speculation for now. We will see a lot of new magic and spells that are not seen in the first part of the series. Some of these spells include time travel (which is shown in the trailer). There will be a lot more powers for Stephen Strange to use such as becoming invisible and turning his staff into a whip.
Ruffalo is expected to return as Jules from Doctor Strange, which sees him being involved in another “heroic event” soon after he was last seen. Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson is expected to return as the Ancient One, a powerful sorcerer who looked after Earth and many other planets.
The cast of the first series has been confirmed to return in the sequel series, which includes Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer and Scott Adkins as Kaecilius. However, it is unclear if these characters will be working together in order to fight off a powerful sorcerer like Dormammu.
