ABOUT LORDS OF THE RING:
The series is based on J.R.R Tolkien’s fantasy novels and tells the story of Sauron, an evil entity that rules one-third of Middle Earth from his stronghold in Mordor, who aims to conquer all other landmasses with the help of a powerful ring he created for this purpose. After centuries passed since it was lost, Sauron’s ring is found by a small hobbit called Frodo. It turns out that only someone who is innocent and “without desire” can take the ring to Mount Doom, where it came from.
There has been no official news regarding the release, but it is expected around 2022.
LORDS OF THE RING PLOT:
The show is about the power of one ring, a lord who despises it, and a boy who doesn’t even know that he’s been carrying this ultimate instrument. In the desolate land of Mordor, where Sauron has been building his strength to reclaim Middle Earth from his stronghold in Mordor, he aims to conquer all other lands with the help of a powerful ring he created for this purpose.
After centuries passed since it was lost, Sauron’s ring is found by a small hobbit called Frodo. This series is set in the land of Westeros, where a powerful family called the Starks rule over much of the countryside.
The most prominent member of this clan is Ned Stark (Sean Bean), who has come up with an idea to unify all seven kingdoms under his banner – and it’s not long before he gets into trouble.
The series is based on the best-selling book A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, who also serves as an executive producer and consultant for the show. With a name like that, what can go wrong? The first episode was well written with some great twists; it opens in Winterfell, where we see a young man being chased by the guards. The scene then cuts to a village where we find that he’s been captured for stealing food and is about to be executed.
THE STARRING CAST:
Ian McShane plays an old King of Westeros who has a gift for seeing into people’s souls and knows when they are lying to him. He hires Ned Stark (played by Sean Bean) as his new Hand.”
Ned didn’t exactly live a simple life,” says Sean Bean, who portrays the Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North in LORDS OF THE RING. “He had responsibility for an entire kingdom, with all sorts of issues that needed to be dealt with-from wars to winter snows.”
“The series is good but not great. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds on TV in comparison with the books; as Martin has said, there are some changes he made for purposes of time and television budgets that were necessary. While it’s too early to tell if GAME OF THRONES’ success translates into LORDS OF THE RING, it’s clear that the series is worth watching.”-TV Guide.
The series has a strong cast and is produced by the same team behind “Game of Thrones” (HBO). It’s no surprise that LORDS OF THE RING will be just as good, if not better. This show deserves to be number one on the list, and it will be.” LORDS OF THE RING tells the story of a world’s battle for peace,” says Sean Bean. “The series reveals how two people from different worlds became our parents.”
This show is worth every penny, especially if you are a fan of “Game of Thrones.” It has everything that makes an HBO series, including the great acting and beautiful cinematography.” LORDS OF THE RING has a perfect mix of fantasy, action, and suspense,” says one viewer. “I am happy to spend my Thursday nights with the people of Gondor.”Belfast, Northern Ireland; New Zealand.
