The Plot:
The Legends of Tomorrow are a team of superheroes that were inspired by Rip Hunter’s disappearance who travel through time and space on the Waverider ship to stop villains from other eras while finding new allies. Season seven is expected to continue the plot of season six, which focused on defeating Mallus, an ancient evil being that was accidentally released by Rip Hunter’s team in 1975 after they traveled back through time and unintentionally caused him to remain at large for decades until he found a way out.
The season seven plot will focus on the Legends’ efforts to stop Mallus while also dealing with other villains that were previously defeated by them in seasons past who are now finding ways to return.
Ratings:
The Legends of Tomorrow has a rating of 60% on Rotten Tomatoes. The plot is based around the premise that time travel exists, allowing small groups to fight off threats throughout history and even change events in their favor. Although there are many plot holes within this show, it does still have good acting with incredible plot twists.
Reviews:
The first season of Legends of Tomorrow is getting more reviews than the second and third seasons, possibly due to it being slightly less confusing if you are new to the show or have not seen this type of plot before. However, all three seasons are worth watching as they will keep you hooked till the end with unexpected plot turns that make it exciting to watch. Again the plot of this show is not perfect, but it does have its interesting moments that keep you watching till the end.
Expectations:
It is anticipated that season seven will introduce a new plot and cast members with some key characters exiting the series. There are also rumors about more crossovers, which were popular in season six when there were two crossovers between Arrow, The Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
