The Witcher: Blood Origin is a miniseries created by Declan de Barra & Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and adapted from The Witcher book series by Andrzej Sapkowski. The show will follow Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher who seeks to rescue his adoptive daughter Ciri from the Wild Hunt and Geralt’s old friend Yennefer. A release date has yet to be set but Lauren Schmidt Hissrich confirmed that they are aiming. Furthermore, Lauren confirmed that there will not be a season 3 at this time and the story is complete with just two seasons but in the future, she would love to come back and tell more stories in this world.
