Lamorne Morris is back! Woke Season 2 is officially premiering on NBC this week and we could not be more excited. Morris plays the role of Winston Bishop on the show and he is one of our favorite characters. If you are not familiar with Woke, it is a sitcom about three friends who live in Chicago. 

The show tackles social issues such as race, class, and gender. It is important to have shows like Woke on TV because they open up dialogue about difficult topics that people often shy away from discussing. We cannot wait to see what Morris has in store for us this season!

This series will be released on 8 April 2022. Also the series has been renewed for season 3. This series can be watched on NBC – All times are GMT-05:00 (US/Central). The United States adaptation of Woke debuts on April 8, while the UK version starts airing on BBC Three a week before that. You can also catch it on Netflix but no word yet when that will happen. The second season takes place in Chicago. In addition to Winston Bishop, the characters still include Lamorne Morris’ character, Woke CEO Janai and Community activist Duke Speciale. The show is still about Miles and his grandiose ideas for his dream school.

However, he’s not in the driver’s seat – one of his priorities is now trying to become a responsible adult with a job and a home that doesn’t involve constant sofa-surfing and calls from his mother. Lamorne Morris is an American actor who is best known for his role as Winston Bishop on the NBC sitcom Woke . He has also appeared in the films Dinner for Schmucks , Why Stop Now , The Heat and Central Intelligence . He was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 9, 1985. He graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in theater arts.

Will there be any new cast members or characters joining the show?

The series will add to its cast of main characters, new characters and new people. There are many things that have happened in the show and there are a lot of opportunities to bring new people on the show.

Will there be more episodes?Will it be longer than season 2?

The series will be renewed for season 3 and it will run for a total of 24 episodes per season. The show usually has 22 or 23 episodes per each last season, so it is possible that the episode count goes up to 24 or 25 for this next season but it still needs to be confirmed. The UK Woke Season 2 takes about 21 minutes per episode, which is the same as US with Season 2.

What are some of the themes that will be explored in Woke Season 2?

There are a lot of themes that will be explored on the show. Some of them are gender-based, race-based and class-based. The show tackles difficult topics that people may shy away from discussing. For example, the whole gender-based theme will be focused on women in the workplace. As it progresses, there will be a focus on how women are treated in the workplace and how men treat women differently at work than what women want to hear about it.

Which actors/actresses have come back for season 2?

The series has brought new actors to the table and also brings back old characters that have been there since day 1 of Woke Season 1. T. Murph, Lamorne Morris and Blake Anderson all return to the series.  Rose McIver who plays a psychiatrist doesn’t make it back for Season 2, but we know that she will be replaced by new characters who will have more work to do if they’re going to help Miles with his problems.

Season 1 was supposed to premiere in 2018 but due to NBC’s schedule changes, it was pushed into 2019 . NBC had some crazy schedule changes, which caused a lot of confusion among fans. There were lots of problems that came from these changes and now season 2 has pushed it’s premiere date into spring of 2022.
