Background of the “Saw X”
Some new friends of John Kramer move into the area and everything is fine until he crosses paths with another of his old victims, this one from his very first game. As the body count begins to grow, John finds out that his own life is at stake as well. Production on the film has been going smoothly, and as of December 2021, a script is 90% written as well as a final location scout has already been completed.

By this point, John is suffering from terminal cancer, and his desire to complete the game has become greater than ever. After being diagnosed with a treatable form of cancer in 2012, Bell received regular chemotherapy and radiation.
Goldsmith went on to say “It will be a fun ride, with lots of surprises and some great new traps from the mind of Jigsaw. I think everyone will be excited with how it all concludes.” No news has been released as to who else will be returning from past installments of the franchise, but John Kramer’s son and Detective Mark Hoffman will likely make appearances in the upcoming film.
