The shooting of Last Kingdom Season 4 started in April 2019 and in July 2019, the Instagram page of Last Kingdom invited fans and hinted fans that season 4 will arrive in 2020.
Last Kingdom Season 4: Plot And Cast
Alexander Dreiman will return (perhaps a little smiling) as Uhtred of Babenberg, and, with alliances between the states, believes that it is right to challenge his uncle Eric, played by Joseph Milson.
He will be accompanied by returning artists, including Ian Hart (father Beauka), Toby Rebo (Ethelred), Emily Cox (Brida), Timothy Innes (Kid Edward), Eliza Butterworth (Ellsworth), Mark Rowley (Finn), Meet. Brady (Aethelflaed), Magnus Brun (Kutty) and JP Beck Lauren (Heston).
Netflix has also confirmed that Prime Suspect will join the cast as the 1973 star Stephanie Martini, “Ethelred’s new love triumph.”

Where Can I Keep The Last Status?
The first two seasons of The Last Kingdom were broadcast on both the BBC and Netflix. Still, the third season is available exclusively on Netflix since the BBC decided not to continue with the historical drama.
Why Can’t I Watch The Last Kingdom On The BBC?
Although the show debuted on BBC2 (and BBC America, for the American public), since series three, it has only been produced by Netflix for Carnival Films producers, Doughton Abbey.
